SEARCHING.

i have been searching,
high and low,
for someone to be a friend,
i just can't seem to find,
someone special in my life.

no joy flows,
no peace of mind,
though i live in a happy place,
i'm still lonely.

i'm searching,
through the clouds,
the moon and the sun,
beyond my fear,
nothing matters anymore,
until i find my best friend.
